Marvelously Made is an enrichment preschool for children ages three through five years old at Helotes Hills United Methodist Church. We offer young children a Christ-centered, developmentally appropriate, early childhood education.
Inspired by the programs of Reggio Emilia, and using the standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) as a guide, our school is a place which inspires children to try new things, explore possibilities and gain knowledge as they develop skills. Through a balance of planned and emergent curriculum our approach to teaching is project-oriented and experience-based.
Marvelously Made preschool is a ministry of Helotes Hills United Methodist Church. Through this ministry, we strive to provide support for our congregation as well as the surrounding community. While the preschool provides a strong academic environment, we do so in a way that allows your child to grow physically, cognitively, emotionally, socially and spiritually, in an atmosphere of love, acceptance, and forgiveness based on God's love as a model for each of us. The goal of our program is to assist children in developing social and emotional competence and cognitive skills in a Christian-value oriented environment.
The preschool seeks to integrate a spiritual and Christian dimension in all areas of learning. Prayers are given before snacks and biblical principles are prevalent throughout the program. The children participate in weekly Chapel during which they are taught Old and New Testament Bible stories, prayer, and Bible songs.
